ACT represents a new care model for treating Afib in patients with structural heart disease by uniting cardiologists and cardiac surgeons.

The goal is to elevate concomitant surgical Afib treatment to standard of care. Major societies, such as the Society for Thoracic Surgeons and the Heart Rhythm Society, have released guidelines in support of concomitant surgical ablation. To support patient education about Afib treatment options and productive collaboration between cardiologists and cardiac surgeons, the following guides and information sheets have been created.
